The Election Committee of the Alliance of Egyptian Americans set up by AEA Board in May chaired by Kamal Elsawi with Amin Mahmoud and Ibrahim Hussein as members announced the results of this year’s election last week and installed the new Board to take office effective immediaetly.

The process started at the beginning of June by verifying the eligible membership list and having said list certified by the Secretary and the Treasure.
Thereafter nominations for Chapter Chairs and for Officer/Director positions were opened. Then a list of candidates were distributed to eligible members and ballots were received counted and the results announced as follows:

Above Board of Directors in its first meeting and as first act of business elekted Kamal Elsawi to be its HONORARY CHAIRMAN.

All records of the election process are to be printed and saved with the Secretary
